2024 Lavaman Triathlon

We are excited to announce that the Lavaman Triathlon will be celebrating its 25^th anniversary on April 7, 2024. Join us for this iconic event located on the Big Island of Hawaii at the Waikoloa Beach resort and fabulous Anaeho’omalu Bay.  We have some special 25^th anniversary items for all athletes.Many of you have asked what the future of Lavaman would be. The Rott family has decided to keep the race in the family. Tyson and Erin Rott will remain owners of Lavaman and Perry Hacker will stay on as race director. Our team is dedicated to ensuring that Lavaman traditions will continue. Our commitment to give back to the island and to host the greatest party in triathlon, will not change. New for 2024, we are offering a duathlon option. In lieu of the swim, Duathletes will run an out and back 3k starting and finishing at transition.
